Happy Holidays!

In fact, it is not easy to form the right words to describe all the emotions regarding the first World Shorebirds Day held earlier this year. After a half a year of preparation we all united on the weekend of 6 September for celebrating everything related to and everyone addicted to shorebirds (or waders if you like). We have 9 months to enjoy the outcome of the historical event until the next one and to plan an even better organisation of the second World Shorebirds Day. A lot have already happened, but a lot more needs to be done.

However, we have already entered the festive week and there is not much left just to relax and enjoy being with our family and do some Christmas Bird Counts. The lucky ones will be able to watch/count shorebirds as well.

The organisers wish you all the best for the coming Holidays!
